Doucument of a Shire – Special Event Hornsby Mall CCTV Launch 3 September 2009 Held in Hornsby Mall, Hornsby NSW Australia 22nd December 2003, the safe and secure Hornsby Shire was shattered by a shooting during an amoured van robbery in Hornsby Mall. Member for Hornsby, Mrs Judy Hopwood MP and the Hornsby Chamber of Commerce, headed by the President, of the time Greg Bepper, commenced the lobby for a safer Hornsby Mall. Three years later, The Hornsby Mall Safety Group was formed in partnership with Hornsby Shire Council, Kuring-gai Local Area Command (Police), Hornsby Chamber of Commerce, Westfield Hornsby and local Hornsby Mall business owners; Hornsby Inn and Chambers & Frewin Real Estate. At the very first meeting CCTV was placed on the agenda. Over the next three years the safety group methodically worked their way through all the NSW State Government requirements, Hornsby Council procedures and public consultations. In 2009 Orion Integrations and their partners donated and installed a “state of the art” CCTV system in Hornsby Mall. This special Event is the climax and culmination of six years dedication by all partners for the safety of the residents and vistors to Hornsby Mall. Doucument of a Shire… The production of this video is donated through the ‘Document of a Shire’ project. Documenting the events and the extraordinary people of Hornsby Shire NSW Australia. How to make my own video surveillance system?

I would like to know how to make my own video surveillance system using materials that i already have if possible. I am being harrassed by the animals a.k.a. kids on my block. The law allows them to get away with this stuff but I would like to catch them in the act on my quest to getting the laws changed in Milwaukee.

Video Surveillance?

My home has recently been broken into twice in the last 2 weeks but nothing was taken. The first time it happened the only reason I knew was because my dog was outside and the 2nd time it happened while I was acually at home. My one vehicle is broke down and sitting at work and so I’m sure that who ever it was thought I was gone because my car was not there. The thing of it is I think it’s acually my neighbor because other people have said that they have caught her in their house. I want to try and video tape her (assuming it’s her) but need some advice on an inexpensive way to do it. Who ever it is comes through the patio door and all I need to do is put a marble in the door so that if the door is opened the marble will be moved and I know someones been in my house. I initially looked at buying some type of motion activated camera but can not afford that – Please does anyone have any ideas on how I can catch this person

I need to set up a video surveillance and I want to buy a cheap computer or mother board. Any suggestions?
