Hey everyone, I’ve previously used AVG but my pc still got Trojans and viruses. So I went and bought norton 360 and the pc broke. So I’m getting A new laptop for Christmas and was wondering what the best anti virus software is?

they use aventura nvr client 5.5.26 but it will not work with my new mac book. i have the ip address and user name and password and everything to the video monitoring site, is there any way i can download some other program to view the cctv, they don’t know much about macs at her daycare so don’t really now how to help me. they gave me a virtual pc 6 program to install that makes the older macs work with the nvr client thing, but apparently it doesn’t work on the newer macs. any one know how i can view the cameras any other way on another program since i have the ip and password and everything?

I’m an amateur on cameras, but I want to get a setup in my neighbourhood. I’d like some wireless PTZ Network Camera that can go a long distance with a decent video streaming quality to my PC.

1. How do the cameras run? What is the power source?
2. Which one would be ideal to get?
3. What would I need to get the full setup running?
4. Once it is running, would I view the video stream via a web browser? Or software application?

How does it all work? I can’t connect wires everywhere from the camera to the router, so how do they run? Where can I get one/them?
