I have an ip Address which i can watch my cameras over the net.but i have to install Active X control on my computer and when i try to install it ,My windows gives me this Message.
Windows has blocked software because it can not verify the publisher. name of the file is WebDVr.cab
I cancell my Fire wall and also put the ip in trusted sites list none of them works

When I view the live video feed on my IP camera (Axis 206), the feed is smooth and there is an almost unnoticeable delay. I can connect to the cameras with the program alright (Active Webcam), but the video is extremely choppy, so much, that at a normal walking pace, it will only catch you for 2 or 3 frames.

I have set the fps, on the camera and in the program, to 15-30 fps, but to no avail. Do you have any suggestions on any settings I could have wrong, or anything else I could do?

Also, are there any other capture programs you would recommend that:
– Can support 25+ cameras
– Are <0 or so
– Are Windows (Server 2003) compatible

A little more information about the server and setup:
– Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4600+, 4GB ram, 1TB Storage space (separate drive with OS), Dual gigabit cards, both hooked to gigabit lines (University server room)

What do you think is the best wireless IP Camera? I have 20 wired cameras now and were looking for a wireless one that can be moved on the fly. Cost isn’t an issue. Thanks.
Are there any cameras that have a slot for a wireless card? Like the sprint broadband card?

The IT guy says do not use static IP, it’s not safe meaning a home computer protected by basic software can easily be hacked. But I wish to have remote access to our cameras. Any suggestions ?

When I look out my window, camera is activated. What can I do about this?
Three permanent cameras all face my property. This is the only neighbor we have. I’ve talked to local law enforcement. They don’t do anything. We had a dinner party on NYE. All activities outside my back door were recorded. Is this right?
