The Norton security software I am using used to save user names and passwords for any website I visited. When returning to a site Norton used to fill in user name and password. Jjust after I switched to the njew Yahoo mail Norton quit filling in this information although it does have the information stored. Just a coincidence about the timing or doess the new Yahoo mail affect this function?

I was wondering if all anti-virus/ security software cost money. Is there anything good and reliable that doesn’t cost anything? But if not which software would you recommend.

I have AVG (pay version of course). What is the best? Somebody on here that answered a question of mine said don’t trust AVG because it is written in Romania where 15% of the world’s viruses originate and they aren’t paid enough not to double-dip. He could be right. I didn’t know this about AVG. But what do I do now? It is my security and I can’t replace it now. This is a new computer and I loaded the AVG as soon as I bought it. But what is the best security software to get?

I use my computer for banking, finance, on-line purchase, mutual fund transactions, etc.

Some transactions involving hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Is it better for me to have a purchased security software than a free one?

I have been using free Comodo Firewall and Free Avira with no problems for over 5 years, but buing a new computer soon.

Are purchased security software really superiou to free ones?

I would like to know if there is any good free security software , for free. (did I mention that I need it to be free haha). If you guys could give me a link and a name or whatever that would help, and I would prefer if you guys knew it was good and what not.

Tell me why or even if you think Rouge security Software attacks are on the rise?

If I buy a 3 user, 1 year license of security software, can I just use it on one PC and spread it over 3 years? I.e. even though its a one year license, because its for 3 PCs, can I just use it three times on one PC? Or do I have to buy a 1 user, 1 PC license 3 times?
