I need a webcam surveillance software that has night vision, and very realiable, and that can make even the worst webcam, capture everything you need for home surveillance. I know thats probably hard to find, but my number one thing is that it has Night Vision, I’ve already tried a couple but they didnt have night vision, right now im using Watcher, and i had it run lastnight and i couldnt even see because it was too dark, and this is inside my house. So please if you know of any good software please let me know, i prefer free, but if it cost i’d still like to take a look at it, Thank you!

What is the best IP surveillance software on the market? I am looking for something that will support multiple IP camera manufacturers with hybrid analogue support. I want to record my 10 Axis IP cameras to a NVR software, but I also have 6 analog PTZ dome cameras so need to integrate this also. 16 cameras in total. Remote access to my IP cameras is a must.

Whats a good webcam surveillance software that has Motion Detection, Email alerts, Streaming video and audio, multiple cams.
I don’t care if it’s freeware or have to buy, as long as its not too much.

All the searching I do comes up with the same crappy software that always crashes. The even crappier software doesn’t crash, it just sucks.

I leave my secondary computer on 24/7, and want to use that one for home surveillance.

mjlambie- Thats, just about perfect. I especially like that It’s programmable, and that there are so many programs already posted from other people in the wiki.
I’m going to wiat a day or two to see if anyone else gives suggestions, otherwise your idea is excelent.

I am searching for some good video surveillance software which permits monitoring via the Internet. WE have 8 cameras in each of our 2 business locations making that 16 cameras in total that we need to monitor.The software needs to be able to run under Windows XP and I came across TRENDnet VortexIP Lite 16 Surveillance Software but I have been unable to find any decent reviews about th e product so I would appreicate any recommendations and thanks in anticipation.
